A. Sanchez-Ti. Curriculum Drivers: Depth in Reading, Relevancy, Results, Range = Access to Rigor and Reasoning ----------------------------------------------------------------- Reading and Comprehension. Paraphrasing instructions, annotating, discerning, asking questions, clarifying problem, Reading the Math from Left to Right because Math is also a Language. Relevancy: Creating Inquiry, Exploring, Measuring, Experiencing, Discussion, Fun, Interesting, Recording Data, Engaging. The most important of the drivers. It keeps or loses your audience. Results, applying theories, algorithms, checking answers, explaining, elaborating. Did it work? Am I correct? How come? Range. Showing more than one way of solving, connecting, checking, demonstrating, reviewing.

Math Content Specialist
Math Curriculum Specialist experience and Online Content Developer since 2007.
H3770." I am Adriant Sanchez-Ti.
I AIM TO BE THE BEST PREPARED MATHEMATICIAN EDUCATOR AVAILABLE
I have developed creative, engaging, and innovative Math Curriculum since 2007. I am experienced with Moodle, HTML, Camtasia software, Smartboard, Zoom/Google Group, Samsung Note (cell phones), YouTube, IXL, Khan Academy, Quizlet, Pear Deck, Desmos Graph, ILLUMINATE assessment/data platform, Elluminate (e-learning), Google G-suite, and many other content resources, I can be as amazing as the people and tech tools I work with. I have always worked under restricted budgets and conditions, which has made me quite the crafty, resourceful and creative collaborator and designer..
In the late 2000's I built supplementary HS Math curriculum for LAUSD, using a Moodle Platform. Sample of my then videos are actually still available in Teacher Tube at this link <3.
THE OBJECTIVE of this page , is to share my experience and provide some samples of my creative, innovative, curriculum building talent of my Math Content Lessons and Activities I have used recent, Lessons/activities I have developed with the only available resources/software I have had access. I have worked with the following experts in "Tech Ed." along the way: Dr. Kip Leland, and Dr. Themy Sparangis (can easily be found in Linked In).
From 2005 to 2010, under Dr. Kip Leland's leadership, I trained, studied and became a local expert "Tech. Educator" for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) the second largest district in the U.S.; in the Los Angeles Virtual Academy (LAVA). LAVA was one of the first Online Programs in the country in 2005 when it was launched. I earned multiple credit hours and certificates as an Online Instructor, specializing in Secondary Mathematics.
By 2008, I was training K - 12 - teachers from all subjects from LAUSD, into how to Use best "Tech.Ed. Strategies and Software" in the classroom. In 2012 I earned my Second Masters degree in Education with an Administrative and Leadership MS from Pepperdine University. Soon there of, I became the Math Department Chair for Alexander Hamilton HS from Fall 2012 to Spring 2014 (Two Years). My accomplishments then were: 1. Preparing School and Culture for Common Core Math, and 2. Improving Math State Tests Results.
Able to accomplish both of those goals, I was promoted within LAUSD to work for the ISIC depatment led by Dr. Tommy Chang. ISIC was the Intensive Support and Innovation Center for LAUSD, which helped support about 30 of the lowest performing schools district wide. I worked with the best District wide Directors, Principals, Coordinators, Math Coaches (like me), from all over the district. It was in 2015, when I started developing this website for Math Educators anywhere.
Tommy Chang then left summer of 2015 and became superintendent of Boston Public for 2 years, ISIC was dismantled in LAUSD, and. I have worked in 3 different districts ever since. I have always been involved in multiple leadership roles at the schools I have worked with, always have used technology, and used my expertise in innovation and and math content development as my strengths, and have kept up to date with technology.
I was an online Math teacher from 2005 to 2010, teaching fully online, and hybrid. I have trained many teachers along the way. Designed professional development, given model lessons, coached teachers, designed math pathways. In the past 3 years, designing curriculum has been a weekly or daily necessity, having no school curriculum whatsoever. Hence, I have loved constructing curriculum from scratch for the past 3 years, and leading and consulting with my district on the math direction we need to build a Math program. I possess Math Curriculum experience in selecting curricula for LAUSD in 2015 when I was considered a Math expert for LAUSD, and my current district. Thus, I have plenty of criteria and needs curricula as well..
I majored in Math for undergrad and ever since, I have become an expert in Pedagogic, strategies for online learning and face to face learning with two Masters in Education. Back in 2005 when I started teaching online, I envisioned that in 2015 all schools would be paperless, and e-learning an everyday, every school district norm. Now that is 2020, I have seen no major enhancements to online available software and hardware compared to then. As a former elluminate instructor and Smartboard facilitator from 2009 to 2013, and as an LAUSD recognized Math Expert, I would love to adhere and be part of a Math Curriculum that truly represents the 21st century and its on demand, math demand.
Now, it is 2023, and I am in the middle of re-branding myself, currently pursuing a DBA. A Doctoral Business in Administration with a focus in Data Analysis.
